Damn, Deftones fucking rocked Minneapolis! That was the best show I have seen in years. The EQ's were perfect and the whole band had seemingly limitless energy!!! Flawless fucking show guys!!!

Deftones were on form last night. Good to see that Chino is hitting those high pitched screams again!

Myth was a bad venue choice though - the acoustics are awful.

I disagree that the Myth was a bad venue choice--I like the small size and I think the sound is great.

I agree though that the show rocked and the band's energy level was amazing! Great set list, too.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...

add a bit more from self-titled to the lists guys! I've been keeping up with the sets, and they're all fucking rockin. Im going to the LA show and I'd LOVE to fucking hear some rare tunes from S/T. Maybe "Battleaxe" (PLEASE!!!) and definitely "Hexagram", but I would cry if you guys played "Good Morning Beautiful" or "Deathblow". That would be so fucking amazing. Also, please play a long fucking set for us at the Gibson. We're all going to be going mad in the pit, right up front so give us that Deftones energy! I know you wont dissappiont. THANKS!

To Deftones:
I'd like to start by saying your music is one of the single most important things in my life, it always has been but I adore it more than ever and you guys have always been one of my absolute favorite bands of all time. You'll never know how much your music has changed my life and how much it does for me on a daily basis, so THANK YOU. Thank you for being you and being so sincere and so passionate. And for being so punk and not even playing punk rock!

That said, I'm attending the Gibson Ampitheatre show on the twenty-eighth (fuck yes!) and I would be honored if you could play just a couple of my favorite songs. I'm dying to hear "Kimdracula" live, also "Combat" and "Rats! Rats! Rats!". There is no possible fucking way to choose just a few favorite Deftones songs so this "dream set" was really hard to compile. I had to stop because there's already too many songs there, but I feel like I just HAVE to hear:

BATTLE-AXE
ELITE (for sure :])
KIMDRACULA* (PLEASE PLEASE!)
KNIFE PARTY
R!R!R!*
HEXAGRAM*
DEATHBLOW
KOREA
BIRTHMARK
WHEN GIRLS TELEPHONE BOYS!!!

I don't know if you guys read this shit, but I LOVE YOU. I'll be satisfied no matter what you play, because it's Deftones and every song is a fucking gem. Thanks guys, SEE YOU IN LA!

I'm sorry, but i agree with the second poster, the sound at Myth was really bad. By far the worst sound of the 9 times i have seen Deftones.

First Ave, Quest and Roy Wilkins are better venues.

yo, the myth is a terrible venue, theres no denying it.
i think deftones definatly did a good job with it though.
i could tell even dir en grey was having some trouble with it.
all in all, awesome show, awesome set list.
props to delgado.

Myth is a poor venue. Both Steph and Chino's guitars were seriously muted- Chino's was the worst. First Ave in December blew this show away. You idiots should have been there.

After the first time I heard the song Passenger I played it over and over again a countless number of times. That is the song that made me fall in love with your music and to see you guys open with it the other night, and to hear most everyone sing along with Chino during the chorus, fucking beautiful. That is what it's all about right there. Huge thanks also for WGTB and Knife Party.
Abe, you the fuckin man!
