This was my 1st time seeing the deftones, and I was on cloud nine! At one point they had to stop the music for a few minutes while security attempted to make thae audience move away from the stage. Chino was singing "back it up, back it up!" It was pretty funny. Digital Bath, Bored, and Passenger (a definite surprise) were the highlights for me. I actually really loved Cherry Waves and Hole in the Earth. Such a soft and heartfelt live performance on each. I was a little sad not to hear Mascara, Feiticeira, and Dai the Flu, but the show effing rocked anyways! Some funny little things about Chino: he says THANK YOU after every song in a fast and funny way, and he LOVES to throw the mic around but he can't ever seem to catch it. It just makes me luve him more. ;)

what!? they didn't put the "take one step back" song on the setlist? oh well, hope it makes it to the new record ;)

Brian - I liked how Chino was like "Can we go now Bob? F*ck it! We're going anyways!" and "If you m*therf*ckers would move, we'd be playing music right now instead of sitting here wasting time!" Haha.

I've been to many a Deftone show and I gotta say this was a 7 out of 10. If it wasn't for the part about the security trying to get people to get off the barricade, my rating would've been an 8 out of 10.

I liked the background light show, that was cool.

I wished they had played Kimdracula, Pins and Needles and Teething, but hey rarely ever play these anywho so that will always be something to complain about.

Dir en Grey kicked ass.

OF COURSE, Deftones rocked but the speakers at the Civic Aud hella sucked. All I heard at times was muffled madness.
I might see them in Frisco, depends on how late I have to work.
