Deftones, thanks for a spectacular show in SLC Saturday night! You really brought it. The number of fans at the show must have been the reason for the venue change. Nothing but love for you here in SLC. Simply put, an unforgettable show!
12 years ago I bought my first Deftones cd and have been a fan ever since...last night was my first chance to see the guys live and although it was a long time coming...it was very well worth the wait. To the band, thanks for a great show. To the fans, you will NOT be disappointed!
GREAT SHOW REALLY LOVED IT!!!! I WAS JUST WAITING FOR XERCES AND RIVIERE TO COME AND THEY NEVER DID :( PLAYED XERCES ON SUNDAY THOUGH...IF I WOULD HAVE KNOWN....ALSO ON SATURDAY NOTHING FROM THE DEFTONES CD...WEIRD HUH?
This was my first Deftones show , and it was awesome! I was worried about the venue change at first, but it wasn't as bad as I thought, and the show itself ROCKED. Fall of Troy was so-so (could't hear the dude singing over his guitar) and Direngrey (sp?) was awesome, a great warmup for the Deftones.
This show ROCKED and was well worth the time, I hope you guys come to SLC again soon!
AWESOME show!! Did anyone hear what Chi said about middle of the show? I didn't quite catch what he said, but it sounded like something to the effect of SLC has the best fans in the states. Anyone else hear? Yeah, we rule here in the SLC! Thanks Deftones for an awesome show!
Deftones always bring it. Honestly though, the production sucked. The promoter obviously oversold the show with no plans to ever have it at a smaller venue. We drove all the way from central Idaho to see a club show. Not a shitty production in a half empty convention hall. The sound and lighting were fucked and the opening bands sucked. Thank you Deftones for a great show but, whoever threw the show should be run out of the business.
